Emma Stanton

Emma Stanton is a Litigation Fellow at Sanford Heisler Sharp McKnight, LLP. Emma received her law degree from the New York University School of Law, and her undergraduate degree from Mount Holyoke College. While in law school, Emma participated in NYU’s Civil Litigation and Employment Law Clinic and Housing Law Externship, and completed internships with Brooklyn Legal Services, the Rhode Island Civil Liberties Union, and Glasberg & Associates, a plaintiff-side civil rights firm based in Virginia. She also served as a Senior Articles Editor on NYU’s Review of Law and Social Change and as a research assistant to Professor Adam Samaha. Before law school, Emma was an investigative analyst with the Conviction Integrity Program at the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office. When Emma is not lawyering, she enjoys reading, cooking, and spending time outdoors.
