Georgia G. Crinnin

Georgia is an Associate Attorney in the Trusts and Estates Practice Group. She is a native of the Syracuse area and an active member of the local community. Trust and Estate Planning Georgia works to understand each client’s individual needs and family background. She understands that all families have unique sensitivities and works with her clients to plan accordingly. She helps clients create estate plans that take into account tax planning, trusts for children or grandchildren, planning for family members with special needs, and Medicaid planning. She has hands-on experience working with clients that require service beyond document preparation. This includes serving as a personal agent, arranging personal aides, working with individuals to determine what living situation will best suit their needs, and overseeing the client’s finances. Estate Administration Georgia is sensitive to the circumstances surrounding estate administration. She works with families to ensure that the probate process is as seamless as possible. This includes working with the Executor to open probate, administer assets, and negotiate with creditors. Georgia attended Washington and Lee University School of Law. While working towards obtaining her law degree she had the opportunity to intern for the Honorable Thérèse Wiley Dancks in the Northern District of New York. She also was able to work with the Honorable Charles N. Dorsey in Roanoke City Circuit Court, in Virginia. Georgia was inspired to attend law school while obtaining her undergraduate degree at the University of Albany, State University of New York, where she studied Political Science and Criminal Justice. During her time in college she had the opportunity to intern in the New York State Assembly.
