Heather A. Giambra Esq.

Ms. Giambra represents public and private sector employers in a variety of labor and employment matters in state and federal courts and before administrative agencies. Her traditional labor practice includes collective bargaining, contract administration, arbitration hearings and representation of employers before the National Labor Relations Board and the Public Employment Relations Board. She also represents employers in litigation involving, among other statutes, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the National Labor Relations Act, the New York State Taylor Law, the New York State Human Rights Law and New York State Labor Laws. A significant amount of Ms. Giambra's practice involves providing day-to-day counseling and advice to businesses to ensure compliance with labor and employment laws and assist them in making personnel decisions, drafting employer policies and handbooks and conducting internal investigations. Ms. Giambra also regularly provides training on labor and employment related issues and is a frequent speaker on a variety of issues relating to labor and employment law.
