Jeffery Greco

Jeffery Greco is a Founding Partner of New York based Greco Neyland, PC. As a former Prosecutor, he puts his extensive experience to work for those accused of crimes in State and Federal courts. Mr. Greco understands the way prosecutors work, and he uses that knowledge to protect the rights and build the strongest possible defense strategy for his clients. He has successfully represented those who have been charged with wide array of criminal charges, including drug related crimes, DWI, assault, embezzlement, fraud and other White-Collar Crimes, as well as possession of child pornography, and sexual offenses and violent crimes such as rape, murder, assault, and burglary. Mr. Greco is passionate about protecting the freedom of those being accused of a crime. A defendant has the incredible weight of the government against him or her, with its nearly infinite resources - especially in the case of federal prosecutions. As a former Assistant District Attorney and Narcotics Prosecutor, Mr. Greco is well aware of the tactics the other side uses and knows how to fight against them. He has training on how police investigate DWIs. He has been certified by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) to conduct standardized field sobriety tests (the same training the police have) and spot controlled substance use in drivers as a Drug Recognition Expert (DRE). He also has DWI training at Harvard Law School in DUI Defense tactics. Mr. Greco has tried over 100 cases to a jury in both State and Federal Courts. This training, along with his trial experience, allows Mr. Greco to identify missteps taken by police, and federal agents, which he has used to fight the prosecution's case in chief. As a result of this, many cases have been reduced to violations, or dismissed entirely. Preparation is a key component to a successful result in criminal court. Mr. Greco always walks into a courtroom fully prepared to fight for the rights of his clients. No matter how hopeless or difficult your case may seem, Mr. Greco will make every effort for a positive result by conducting a thorough investigation into all allegations and all circumstances surrounding those allegations brought against you.
