Joanne Febus

Joanne Febus is an Associate Attorney at Robert Tsigler, specializing in family law and matrimonial cases. Prior to joining the firm, she worked as a Staff Attorney at the New York Legal Assistance Group (NYLAG), where she represented survivors of domestic violence in family law and immigration matters, providing legal advice and litigating cases. Before her time at NYLAG, Joanne served as an Assistant District Attorney at the Queens District Attorney’s Office, where she gained significant experience handling criminal cases involving child abuse, sexual assault, and domestic violence. Her background also includes internships at the Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office Domestic Violence Unit, the Bronx Defenders, and the Divorce Mediation Clinic at Cardozo School of Law, where she developed a strong foundation in legal research, document drafting, and meeting clients’ needs in a professional and compassionate manner. Fluent in Spanish, Joanne is dedicated to providing effective legal services to both English and Spanish-speaking clients. She is also a Notary Public. In her free time, Joanne enjoys rock climbing, hiking, and spending time with her family.
