John Brenon

To me, the practice of law is not just a job, it’s a vocation. My practice has focused on the full range of estate planning, estate administration, elder law issues, and, at the other end of the spectrum of life, the law with respect to the adoption of children. I have extensive experience designing estate plans for clients ranging from those with only modest means to those with significant wealth and feel that I am skilled at estate planning utilizing simple and complex wills, revocable and irrevocable living trusts, irrevocable life insurance trusts, supplemental needs trusts, and charitable remainder trusts. I have also overseen the probate and administration of hundreds of estates and trusts ranging from uncontested matters through complex, contested matters. My adoption law experience includes local, interstate, and international adoptions in which I have successfully represented, variously, the adoptive parents, birth parents, children, and agencies in both contested and uncontested cases. I have also testified as an expert witness on the subject.
