Matthew Haicken

For our clients who have been injured as the victim of a crime, due to an accident or the negligence of others, Matthew Haicken has joined our firm as Counsel. Matthew Haicken has been practicing personal injury and insurance law for nearly ten years. In addition to his years as a practicing lawyer, he also spent three years working at a large insurance company where he worked with excellent lawyers from around the country. This experience has proven invaluable. He gained insight into how insurance companies evaluate claims, and he learned the tactics they employ to fight personal injury lawsuits and deny claims. Matt enjoys helping people through difficult situations and making a positive impact on the lives of his clients. When not practicing law, he is actively involved in the New York State Trial Lawyers Association (NYSTLA), a group that works on behalf of injury victims against lawmakers and corporations that seek to limit the access of average people to the courts. He believes that the courthouse doors should be kept open to everyone regardless of his or her immigration status or financial situation. He is committed to fighting for a strong civil justice system that enables people who have been harmed to hold wrongdoers accountable.
