Nathaniel O. Stowe

Nathaniel is an associate with Coughlin & Gerhart, LLP, practicing in the firm’s Business & Banking, Labor & Employment, and Real Estate practice areas. He works with individuals and businesses on a range of transactional and advisory matters, supporting clients through contract review, business operations, and real estate-related issues. Nathaniel brings a strong academic foundation and a thoughtful, research-driven approach to his work. He earned his undergraduate degree in History and African Studies from St. Lawrence University, graduating cum laude, and received his Juris Doctor from Penn State Law. His academic background strengthens his ability to analyze complex issues, communicate clearly, and approach matters with perspective and care. Prior to joining the firm as an associate, Nathaniel worked with Coughlin & Gerhart as a summer associate in 2024, gaining hands-on experience across multiple practice areas and working directly with attorneys and clients. He continues to build his practice in the firm’s Ithaca and Binghamton offices. Nathaniel is an active member of the Broome County Bar Association and the Tompkins County Bar Association. Outside of the office, he enjoys reading.
