Patricia J. Shevy

Patricia J. Shevy is the founder of The Shevy Law Firm, LLC, of Albany, New York. Tricia focuses her practice exclusively in the areas of estate planning and administration and elder law/special needs planning. Tricia was honored with the opportunity to teach all attorneys applying for admission to practice by the New York State Board of Law Examiners the basics of powers of attorney, health care proxies and trusts. Tricia is an active member of the New York State Bar Association. In addition to serving as Chair of the Trusts and Estates Section, Tricia is the current Vice Chair of the Association’s Continuing Legal Education Committee, and Elder Law and Special Needs Section (Co-Chair of the Estates, Trusts and Tax Issues Committee, and former Co-Chair of the Board of Editors of the Elder and Special Needs Law Journal).
