Robin S. Messinger Esq.

Robin S. Messinger, Esq. is a skilled attorney specializing in elder law, Estate and Trust Administration. She guides clients through probate proceedings before Surrogate’s Courts and provides expert advice on fiduciary responsibilities such as Executors and Trustees in the settlement of estates and trusts. With Dispute Resolution experience, Robin is adept at negotiating settlements among family members when conflicts arise over the distribution of assets in a Will or trust. She also represents clients in negotiations with county attorneys when the Medicaid department seeks to impose claims against a community spouse or place a lien on the estate of a Medicaid recipient. While at New York Law School, Robin interned for the U.S. Attorney and was involved with the Immigration Law Clinic. After graduating law school, Robin worked at J.P. Morgan Chase and Brown Brothers Harriman in their Fiduciary Trust departments. Robin brings a wealth of experience and a calm, strategic approach to resolving complex estate-related issues. Outside of her legal practice, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, as well as playing tennis, bike riding, and hiking.
