Sharon Zirkiev

Sharon Zirkiev is an associate attorney at NY Elder Law Group, where her practice focuses on elder law and trusts and estates. She is dedicated to helping clients protect their loved ones, preserve their hard-earned assets, and plan for the future with dignity and peace of mind. Sharon earned her Juris Doctor from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where she was recognized as a Dean’s Scholar. Her legal background includes experience in patent prosecution as well as diverse litigation matters, ranging from employment disputes to complex commercial cases. This varied foundation allows her to bring both strategic insight and a deep sense of empathy to her work. Prior to law school, Sharon earned her bachelor's degree in bioinformatics from CUNY Hunter College. Her scientific training sharpened her analytical skills and cultivated a methodical, root-cause approach to problem-solving—one she applies to every legal challenge she encounters. Sharon has always been motivated by a deep commitment to protecting others. She believes that elder law and estate planning are not just about legal documents, but about honoring people’s lives, securing their legacies, and ensuring their voices are heard.
