Susie C. Sohn

Susie has over 16 years' legal experience working as counsel on real estate, economic development, and commercial transactions. Prior to joining BSR&B, Susie was with the Office of the New York City Comptroller in New York, N.Y. serving as the Associate General Counsel for real estate, economic development, and commercial transactions for the City's pension funds. Prior to this, she also spent time as Counsel, Real Estate, for the New York City Economic Development Corporation in New York, N. Y. Susie is dedicated to the local community and serves on the Board of Directors of the Orange County Land Trust and the Board of Directors of the Wallkill River School of Art. She is a past Board member Women's Bar Association of Orange and Sullivan Counties, as well as her homeowner's association. Susie graduated with her Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Cornell University, her Master of Arts in American Studies from the University of Notre Dame, and received her law degree from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, Yeshiva University. She is admitted to practice law in New Jersey as well as New York, where she has been admitted since 2005. Susie is a native of Goshen, N.Y. and currently lives in Goshen with her husband, also a Goshern native, and their two young children.
