Terence McLaughlin

Terence (“Terry”) is an experienced commercial litigator with nearly three decades of senior litigation (including as a “Big Law” partner) and in-house expertise, particularly with respect to bankruptcy litigation and complex contractual disputes. Terry’s broad commercial litigation experience encompasses all manner of bankruptcy-related litigation and disputes under chapters 7 and 11 (including sub-chapter V thereof) of the Bankruptcy Code; inter-creditor and/or financing disputes outside of bankruptcy court; derivative and direct litigation on behalf of private equity sponsors and other corporate clients; ownership and management disputes, particularly within small or closely-held companies; real estate-related disputes; defense of corporate officers, directors and/or other fiduciaries in disputes implicating their duties and conduct; and all manner of contractual disputes as to complex commercial transactions in state and federal courts alike. Terry also has proficiency in matters related to healthcare law from his time as in-house counsel at Canary Medical, an early-stage medical device and data company focused on developing and manufacturing sensors for use in implantable and wearable medical devices and harvesting the sensor data for various diagnostic and commercial uses.
