Cindy M. Rice

Cindy Rice is an Asheville native and graduate of Asheville High School. She attended the Kenan Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Law. While in law school, Cindy served as an Articles Editor for the North Carolina Journal of Law & Technology. Cindy always intended to return to Asheville, and after interning for Patla, Straus, Robinson & Moore, P.A. during law school, she knew it was the perfect place to start her legal career. She joined the firm as a litigator in 2003 and became a partner in 2005. Cindy is actively involved in the Asheville community and has served on the Boards of the Asheville City Schools Foundation, Pisgah Legal Services, and The Lewis Rathbun Wellness Center, Inc. She also provides pro bono services through the Mountain Area Volunteer Lawyer Program.
