Georgia Spiros Nixon

Georgia Spiros Nixon is the managing attorney and owner of Nixon, Doermann, and Edwards, PLLC, in High Point, North Carolina. She has been defending individuals accused of crimes for over three decades, tirelessly working to ensure they receive fair treatment under the law. She fights for her client's rights and protects their freedom. Ms. Nixon's goal is to minimize the harm her clients face. She negotiates with prosecutors or goes to court to defend their rights before a jury. She will do whatever is necessary to help protect their rights. Being a former District Attorney, she has the knowledge and skills as a board-certified specialist in state and federal criminal law to assist clients in any case. She has argued successfully in the North Carolina Court of Appeals. Ms. Nixon earned her J.D. from Campbell University Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law in Buies Creek, North Carolina, in 1990. She also holds a B.A. from North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina, which she received in 1987. During her time at North Carolina State University, she achieved the honor of being on the dean's list and majored in Sociology.
