Kirk J. Angel

I am Kirk J. Angel, attorney and founder of The Angel Law Firm, PLLC. I am a native of the mountains of Western North Carolina. I received my BA in Philosophy from the University of North Carolina at Asheville. After graduating from UNC-A, I attended the University of Tennessee where I received a Masters in Philosophy and my law degree in 1997. After graduating from UT, I practiced for a small firm in Knoxville focusing my practice on employment law for employees as well as personal injury and worker's compensation. I returned to my home state to work as a Trial Attorney for the US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) in the Charlotte District Office. I handled litigation and worked on investigations throughout North and South Carolina while with the EEOC. I left the EEOC and opened The Angel Law Firm, PLLC in 2005. I focus my practice on employment law for employees and local businesses (employers). I am licensed to practice law in North Carolina and Tennessee. I am admitted to practice before the following courts: US District Court for the Eastern District of NC US District Court for the Western District of NC US District Court for the Middle District of NC US District Court for the Eastern District of TN US District Court for the Middle District of TN I am also a North Carolina Superior Court Certified Mediator.
