Macaylee Anderson

Macaylee was born and raised in Guilford County, North Carolina. She began working with Julia Pendleton in 2019 as a summer intern and then a legal assistant from 2019 to March 2025. Macaylee is a graduate of Guilford College where she majored in Criminal Justice and received departmental honors and high honors. While at Guilford College, Macaylee began the 3+2 ½ fast track program to Elon Law, which allowed her to complete her undergraduate and law school education in 5 ½ years. During her time at Elon Law, Macaylee was a resident student for Justice Allen of the North Carolina Supreme Court and an extern for Judge Osteen, Jr. of the United States District Court for the Middle District of North Carolina. She was a member of the Elon Law Review, Moot Court Board, Advocacy Fellows, and Elon’s Phi Kappa Phi honors chapter. Macaylee graduated first in her class and was inducted in the Order of the Scribes in December 2024. Outside of the office, Macaylee enjoys reading and spending time with her family and four dogs: Bella Sara, Blaise, Teddy Graham and Maggie May!
