Mahlon W. DeLoatch Jr.

Mahlon earned his J.D. from Wake Forest University in 1968 after spending a number of years in the banking industry. Before entering law school, he was a trust officer with the First National Bank of South Carolina, Spartanburg. Serving on the editorial staff of the Wake Forest Law Review, Mahlon earned many distinctions during law school. Since graduating, Mahlon has split his time between the financial sector and the practice of law, primarily in the areas of real estate, probate and fiduciary, taxation, business and municipal law. Mahlon is currently affiliated with DeLoatch & Hinton, PLLC, in Tarboro, North Carolina, as of counsel, where he continues to provide frequent and helpful guidance to his former partner, Chad Hinton.
