Marlo L. Thaggard

Marlo L. Thaggard was born and raised in Lumberton, North Carolina. She was a 1998 summa cum laude graduate of Lumberton Senior High School. After high school, she attended Campbell University where she remained a Fighting Camel for the next seven years while she obtained her undergraduate and law degrees. Marlo is an active member of West Lumberton Baptist Church where she serves as a teacher to the 0-2 year old Sunday School class. She enjoys playing softball, reading, and traveling. North Carolina attorney's lifelong interest in law Marlo's journey into the legal profession began during her high school junior year when she worked in a local law firm as a runner/administrative assistant. She continued to work with that firm during her college years until she joined staff at Greg Jones & Associates in 2001 as a case coordinator. Her experiences at these two firms were excellent opportunities that fueled her desire to become an attorney. Marlo was also privileged to see another branch of government in action while working with Congressman Mike McIntyre as an intern during the summer of 2000.
