Mica Nguyen Worthy

Mica Nguyen Worthy has represented clients in general liability and workers' compensation cases since 2008, primarily in the Construction Industry. She has obtained favorable results for corporations, employers, individuals and insurance carriers in mediations and in litigation. Mica has experience as lead attorney defending cases involving work place injuries, asbestosis and other occupational disease claims, breach of contract disputes, homeowner's association disputes, et. al. She also has experience on litigation teams handling complex matters before the NC Business Court, as well as before the NC Superior Court and the US District Court for the Western District of NC, including construction defect, legal malpractice, property damage and other general liability matters. In such cases, Mica works closely with clients to establish litigation strategies, as well as to ensure each client receives appropriate case updates and evaluations that adhere to reporting policies. Mica has experience working with local clients who have an international presence. Her interest in international business law, as well as her international education and multicultural background, help her to advise and represent this unique cross-section of business professionals and guide them through local and US jurisdiction and liability laws.
