Gary B. Stewart

Garylle (Gary) B. Stewart was one of the founding partners of the Solberg Stewart Miller law firm and is now deceased. He practiced in the areas of municipal law, real estate, personal injury litigation (negligence and accidents), probate, and general litigation matters for over 40 years. Gary was a City Attorney for the City of Fargo for a number of those years, handling a wide range of issues on behalf of Fargo including eminent domain actions, federally-funded buyout programs, and day-to-day legal advice to city officials. Gary was a native of Humboldt, Minnesota, and graduated from Moorhead State University in Political Science in 1963. He graduated from the University of North Dakota School of Law in 1967, and then served as a law clerk for the North Dakota Supreme Court for a year before joining Wayne Solberg in practice in 1968. Gary was admitted to practice in the State of North Dakota and in the United States District Court for the District of North Dakota.
