J.R Strom

J.R. Strom focuses his practice on real estate, estate planning, probate, and municipal law. J.R. joined Ohnstad Twichell in 2016, and he has worked out of the Hillsboro office since his start. He grew up on a farm near Steele, North Dakota raising beef cattle. During law school, J.R. served as the Editor in Chief of the North Dakota Law Review, participated on the Trial Team, and served as an extern for the North Dakota Supreme Court. J.R. currently lives on a farmstead near Hillsboro with his two German shepherds and greatly enjoys the small-town life. He serves as a director of the Hillsboro EDC, chairman of the Lodging Tax Committee, and as an active past president of the Hillsboro Business Association. In his free time, his hobbies include trivia, fishing, and cooking for friends and family.
