Trent N. Barkus

Trent Barkus is a partner at Barkus Law Firm, P.C., in Fargo North Dakota. Trent is licensed to practice law in state and federal courts in North Dakota. Currently, Trent serves as the elected West Fargo Municipal Judge. He primarily focuses his practice in the area of family law. Trent grew up in Jamestown, North Dakota and attended University of Jamestown where he graduated in 2008. He served on active duty in the United States Navy from 2010-2016. Trent earned a Master's degree in International Relations from Troy University in 2015. After completing his active duty service, Trent attended University of North Dakota School of Law. During that time, Trent received his commission as an Officer in the United States Navy Reserve where he continues to proudly serve. He volunteers on the Barnes/Stutsman Drug Court, the Governor's Task Force for Veteran's Affairs, Fargo National Cemetery Volunteer Committee and various other committees. Trent resides in West Fargo with his wife and children. He spends his free time with his family, running and golfing only slightly better than his wife.
