Daniel Gerard Keating

Daniel G. Keating was born and raised in Warren, Ohio, graduating from John F. Kennedy High School in 1975. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada, in 1979, and his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Toledo, College of Law, in 1982. Dan was sworn in as an attorney in November, 1982, and he then joined his Father, W. Leo Keating, in the practice of law in Warren, Ohio. Through his career, Dan has represented clients and argued cases throughout the State of Ohio, including before the Ohio Supreme Court, and Federal Courts. Dan's practice has been diversified through the years including extensive criminal practice, medical malpractice defense, personal injury, probate, domestic relations and business services. Over the years, Dan's client list has included Warren General Hospital, Premier Health Plan and Sony Entertainment America, among others. He currently serves as General Counsel to the Western Reserve Port Authority/Youngstown Warren Regional Airport. Dan is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association (Member, Aviation Law Committee), the Trumbull County Bar Association and the Lawyer-Pilots Bar Association. He served as President of the Trumbull County Bar Association from 2005 to 2007, and was formerly the Chairman of the Trumbull County Certified Grievance Committee. He also served as the first Bar Counsel of the Trumbull County Bar Association. Dan is active in community affairs, serving on the Advisory Board of the Salvation Army and on the Board of the Warren Heritage Center.
