Gregory F. Ahrens

With nearly four decades of experience in intellectual property law, Greg focuses his practice on IP litigation, representing clients in complex disputes across the country. He has handled numerous cases through jury trials, appeals, and in proceedings before the PTAB and the ITC. His litigation work spans from federal to state courts, including the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and various Ohio state courts. In addition to his trial work, Greg oversees attorneys across all facets of the firm’s IP practice, particularly emphasizing the chemical arts. He is admitted to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office, the United States Supreme Court along with numerous federal district courts around the U.S. Recognized as Best Lawyers’ “Lawyer of the Year” for IP/Patent Litigation in Cincinnati in 2018, 2021, 2024, and 2026, Greg remains committed to delivering practical, results-driven legal strategies.
