Melissa M Folan

Melissa joined Rosenberg & Associates in August of 2016 and was sworn in as an attorney in May of 2017. She focuses her practice mainly in the areas of Family Law and Probate/Estate Planning. In the area of Family Law, Melissa handles cases involving divorce, dissolution, child custody, visitation, and child support, as well as abuse, neglect, and dependency cases. Melissa also serves as a Guardian ad Litem in Portage County. Melissa graduated Magna cum laude from the University of Akron School of Law. During law school, Melissa completed a summer internship at Community Legal Aid where her primary task was to interview victims of domestic violence. Melissa understands that the legal process can be emotional, but she is there to lend a compassionate ear to all of her clients to help guide them through the legal process.
