Dr. Pabitra Kumar (“PK”) Chakrabarti, Ph.D. represents clients before the USPTO, drafts original patent applications and office action responses, advises on claim strategies, conducts examiner interviews, and manages foreign counsels on international applications. PK's practice has a strong focus on Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Renewable and Wind Energy, Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering, Medical Devices, Software, Finance, and Business Methods and other emerging technologies. In his prior roles, PK prepared and prosecuted patent portfolios of technology majors like Salesforce, Siemens, and Shell. Before that, he practiced as an In-House Patent Attorney with General Electric (GE), where he worked across several GE Businesses, including Renewable Energy, Aviation, Transportation, Healthcare, Oil & Gas, GE Global Research and NBC Universal.
