Robert G. Abney

Robert is licensed to practice in the state of Ohio as well as the United States Federal Court, Northern District of Ohio. Robert began his legal career working in a personal injury law firm and also has experience in a municipal prosecutor's office. Robert worked for several years in the Stark County Public Defender's Office working in family court prior to transitioning into private practice. He has served as a mediator for Akron Municipal Court and has appeared before the Ohio Supreme Court. Robert is also approved by the Ohio Supreme Court to practice and serve as a guardian ad litem. Robert is from Dayton, Ohio. He met his wife at Bowling Green State University where he earned Bachelor of Science Degrees in Business Pre-law and Finance. After obtaining his bachelor degrees, Robert went to The University of Akron School of Law on scholarship where he graduated early with a Juris Doctorate. Robert and his wife have three children.
