Shafiyal A. Ahmed

Shafiyal A. Ahmed first joined KNR as a law clerk in 2018. During this time, he was able to gain valuable experience while also attending law school at night. Working closely with our legal team, Shaf was able to learn the importance of adapting quickly to changing circumstances and the value of assiduous preparation. He was frequently tasked with drafting motions, briefs, and conducting extensive and complex discovery. Shaf also worked as a legal intern for an insurance company. He combines these experiences, along with his strong work ethic, to serve his client’s needs and expectations throughout the entirety of the litigation process. In law school, Shaf won the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for achieving the highest grade in Insurance Law. He was elected Student Bar Association Representative and elected to the Executive Board of Capital University’s Asian Pacific American Law Student Association. He served on the Academic Affairs and Bar Passage committees at Capital Law, where he worked alongside professors to improve students’ legal knowledge and raise the School’s bar pass rate. Before earning his law degree from Capital University Law School, Shaf earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics at The Ohio State University.
