Before transitioning to defense work, Drew built a strong foundation as a prosecutor. He served as a Deputy District Attorney in Marion County, where he handled a wide range of cases involving property offenses, drug-related charges, and Measure 11 person crimes. Earlier in his career, he worked as a Deputy District Attorney in Coos County, gaining valuable trial experience in a rural court system that required adaptability and hands-on litigation skills. This prosecutorial background allows Drew to anticipate opposing strategies and develop effective defense plans. Drew earned his undergraduate degree in History and American Studies from the University of Idaho and completed his legal education at Willamette University College of Law.
