Tate F. Justesen

Family law matters can be extremely challenging for clients, even in the best of scenarios. With his many years of family law experience, Tate brings a common sense and compassionate approach to his clients’ matters. Tate believes that keeping clients well informed and engaged in the process leads to less stress for folks in the middle of family law disputes. Helping clients navigate their stressful legal situations to resolution and closure through creative problem-solving is what Tate finds most rewarding about family law. Reaching out of court settlements is always the worthy goal but when that is not possible, Tate is ready to zealously advocate for his clients in the courtroom. When Tate is not assisting clients, he enjoys spending time exploring Portland by bicycle, hiking, running, catching up on his magazine subscriptions and multiple books he has begun reading, and enjoying the many food and entertainment opportunities the city has to offer. As a former whitewater raft guide, he also spends time on the rivers of Central Oregon every summer. He often visits family on the east side of the Cascade Mountains.
