Valerie Wright

Valerie Wright is a trial attorney who received her education at Harvard University and the University of Denver College of Law. She believes in listening carefully to the person who needs her services in order to accomplish the goals that the client sets. She is known for striking an excellent balance between idealistic and realistic, between principle and compromise, between the past action and the future possibility. Valerie specializes in criminal and juvenile law, with an emphasis on defending allegations of sexual abuse. She believes that it is critical to have top-notch trial skills and an excellent command of the rules of evidence in order to get good results in the courtroom. Furthermore, her experience in the criminal law arena (27 years) gives her the credibility and respect necessary to resolve many cases without the need for going to trial. When not working, Valerie enjoys spending time with her husband, son and dogs and she can often be found hiking the many trails found in the mountains and plateaus of the high Desert in central and eastern Oregon.
