Alexander M. Watson

Alexander M. Watson concentrates his practice on estate planning, residential and commercial real estate, and representing business entities and nonprofit organizations. His proficiency includes all aspects of trusts and estates, such as lifetime and testamentary estate planning, estate administration, charitable giving, tax-exempt organizations and closely held business planning. He provides strategic advice on complex estate planning matters, including business succession planning, A/B Trust Wills, bypass trust wills, family limited partnerships, qualified personal residence trusts, education trusts, charitable remainder trusts, and revocable living trusts. With a focus on personalized planning for families and businesses, he ensures individualized solutions. Mr. Watson handles estate planning and assists individuals in buying and selling residential real estate for investment or homeownership. He has also worked with churches and organizations in obtaining and preserving their 501(c)(3) status. Mr. Watson completed his undergraduate studies at Princeton University in 1975. He then pursued a master's degree at the University of London in 1976. Following his education, he joined a Legislative Study Commission for the State of New Jersey. During his tenure, Mr. Watson played a crucial role in co-authoring the commission's final report. This report provided recommendations for legislation aimed at preventing nursing home abuses and detecting Medicaid fraud. In 1985, Mr. Watson obtained his J.D. from Rutgers Law School. Since then, he has been practicing law privately. He is licensed to practice in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Additionally, he holds memberships in prestigious organizations such as the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the Elder Law, Real Estate, Probate, and Trust Law Sections of the New Jersey State Bar Association, and the Pennsylvania Bar Association.
