Anthony J. D'Amico

Mr. D'Amico is a founding member of D'Amico Law Offices, LLC. With decades of litigation experience, he began his career as an Assistant District Attorney in the Allegheny County District Attorney's Office. In 1987, Mr. D'Amico began his career in civil litigation and has since concentrated his practice in areas of serious personal injury, wrongful death, pharmaceutical cases, product liability cases, and medical malpractice cases. A partial sampling of Mr. D'Amico's cases includes the following: The Ashland Oil Spill, a class action resulting in a $30,000,000 settlement for property damage and business interruption as a result of the release of oil from a ruptured oil tank. A wrongful death claim on behalf of the parents of an infant who died as a result of the ingestion of an anti-heartburn medication known as PropulsidTM. The infant's death and the resulting litigation were major contributing factors in the FDA's order to discontinue the sale of PropulsidTM in the United States. A premises liability claim on behalf of a worker who developed acute myelogenous leukemia as a result of occupational exposure to toxic fumes emanating from coke batteries.
