Mark J. Conte

In Memoriam Mark Conte spent over fifteen years at the Chester County District Attorney's Office before he joined Evan Kelly at the Bellwoar Kelly, LLP as a criminal defense attorney. While at the Chester County District Attorney’s Office, Mark advanced to the rank of Deputy District Attorney and led the training for all assistant district attorneys on trial tactics and techniques. As a Deputy District Attorney and later as a defense attorney, Mark developed a reputation among the Judges of Chester County and the attorneys that he battled in court as a ferocious litigator and intelligent thinker. Mark was a masterful trial attorney who tried 1st degree murder, 2nd degree murder, 3rd degree murder, homicide by vehicle cases and rapes and robberies. Mark passed away on March 12, 2020 after a lengthy battle with cancer. Mark will never be forgotten but will forever be missed. We are blessed to have been able to work with him and learn from him. May he rest in peace.
