Matthew Alan Diemer

Matt has been employed with our firm since April 2023, and licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania since May 2020. His practice is concentrated mostly in Criminal Defense, but he also zealously represents clients in custody, divorce, and Protection from Abuse matters. He also is a Guardian Ad Litem for Lycoming County, where he is tasked as a neutral party to represent the best interests of children in custody matters. Matt has secured victories for his clients in all aspects of the criminal justice system, to include dismissal of charges at the magistrate level, suppression of evidence in pretrial matters, and not guilty verdicts in multiple felony and misdemeanor jury and non-jury trials. He currently represents clients charged with crimes ranging from driving under the influence to attempted homicide. He has gained a reputation as being a skilled and fierce advocate for all of his clients. Matt represents his clients in appellate and post-conviction matters as well before the Pennsylvania Superior, Commonwealth, and Supreme Courts. Matt attended law school at the Widener University Commonwealth Law School in Harrisburg, PA, where he was ranked in the top 10 of his class each semester, and graduated cum laude. He was a member of the law review and an executive board member of the trial advocacy honor society. While in law school he was an intern with the Lycoming County Public Defender's Office. Upon passing the bar exam, Matt was employed by the former Callahan Gardner law firm, which ultimately transitioned into the Lovecchio Diemer Law Firm. Prior to attending law school, Matt graduated from Lycoming College with a degree in Political Science, is a member of Pi Sigma Alpha—the National Political Science Honor Society, and was a proud member and officer with the local United Steelworkers Union.
