Rebecca A. Myers

Since joining Gentile, Horoho & Avalli in 2005, Rebecca Myers has focused her practice exclusively on family law. In addition to practicing in all aspects of domestic relations litigation, Ms. Myers has completed training as a parent coordinator and is competing training in mediation. Attorney Myers' interest in family law is long standing and she devoted much of her studies in law school at the University of Pittsburgh to this area of practice. Additionally, her undergraduate training in psychology has proven helpful in assisting her clients through the difficult, often emotionally draining family court system. In addition to her family law litigation practice, Ms. Myers is also a certified mediator in divorce and family conflicts by the Association for Conflict Resolution. She is trained in mediation and collaborative law and chairs the firm’s collaborative law group. Additionally, Ms. Myers is a member of the Collaborative Law Association of Southwestern Pennsylvania, where she serves as membership chair. She is also a member of the Collaborative Law section of the Allegheny County Bar Association. Upon graduation from law school, she was awarded the American Association of Matrimonial Lawyers award for excellence in the area of family law. Additionally, Attorney Myers was named a Super Lawyer Rising Star in 2010, 2013 and 2014. She is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Bar Association. Ms. Myers is a member of the Family Law Section and the Young Lawyers Divisions of the local and state bar associations.
