Richard Eugene Santee

Richard (Ricky) Eugene Santee is a lifelong resident of the Lehigh Valley having graduated from Liberty High School in Bethlehem and presently resides in the City of Bethlehem. Ricky attended Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA, where he graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in History in 2007. He later received his Juris Doctor degree from the Temple University Beasley School of Law in Philadelphia, PA in 2010. After graduating from Temple, Ricky returned to the Lehigh Valley where he worked as the law clerk to the Hon. Stephen G. Baratta of the Northampton County Court of Common Pleas from 2010-2011. Richard joined the firm of Shay, Santee & Kelhart as an associate in 2011 and became a partner in 2020. On October 1, 2021, the lawyers from Shay, Santee & Kelhart and Deschler Law, LLC formed the firm Shay, Santee, Kelhart & Deschler LLC where Ricky is a member of the firm. Ricky handles insurance defense, personal injury, general civil litigation, estate planning, estate administration, and municipal law matters. He has represented clients in a variety of civil matteers including contractor disputes, zoning appeals, landlord and tenant disputes, property damage claims, and personal injury actions, Additionally, Ricky has served as assistant solicitor to several municipal entities including the County of Northampton. Ricky is licensed in Pennsylvania and a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association. He is also an active member of the Northampton County Bar Association where he has served in a variety of roles including as Chair of the Young Lawyer's Division, Chair of the Civil Litigation Committee, Member of the Board of Governors, and Chair of the Continuing Legal Education Committee.
