Steven E. Angstreich

Steven is a co-founder of the firm, its managing shareholder and Chair of the firm's Commercial and Environmental section. He actively engages in the litigation of sophisticated and complex individual and class action cases. He has successfully handled numerous class actions in the fields of securities, antitrust, consumer fraud, toxic exposure, breach of fiduciary duty, waste and mismanagement, and land fraud. A lecturer in the areas of toxic tort, environmental law, and legal malpractice, he is often called to be an expert witness retained by both plaintiffs and defendants in the field of legal malpractice. As part of his practice, Steven serves as a mediator and arbitrator in complex alternative dispute resolution efforts and is active as an arbitrator on behalf of the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. Born in the Bronx, NY, Steven attended the University of Pennsylvania, receiving a B.S. in Economics in 1967. He received his J.D., with honors, from Temple University School of Law in 1970 where he was a member of the Law Review. Steven is admitted to the Pennsylvania and U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Pennsylvania Bar; the U.S. Court of Appeals, Third Circuit; and the U.S. Supreme Court. He is also admitted to practice in the New Jersey and U.S. District Court, District of New Jersey. He is a member of the Philadelphia, Camden County, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and American Bar Associations. An avid golfer, Steven is a past president of the Woodcrest Country Club in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. In 1997, he was a member of the golf team that represented the United States in the Mercedes Benz Dealers' tournament in Stuttgart, Germany.
