Walter Weir Jr.

Mr. Weir, former managing partner of Klehr, Harrison, Harvey,Branzburg, Ellers & Weir and Patterson & Weir, concentrates his practice in the representation of lenders and financial institutions, and in the handling of complex commercial litigation, creditors rights, bankruptcy and insolvency matters. He also handles loan restructures and loan documentation, as well as general corporate and commercial matters. Mr. Weir earned his undergraduate degree from Temple University, and graduated from Temple University Law School in 1976. Prior to graduation, Mr. Weir attended Georgetown University Law Center where he participated in its Criminal Litigation Program. In 1976, he was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar and the District of Columbia Bar. In 1981, he was admitted to the New Jersey Bar. Mr. Weir is a recipient of the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association Trial Advocacy Award. He was also a member of the faculty in the Mid-Atlantic Region of National Institute of Trial Advocacy in1984 and 1985. He is a member of the American, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Philadelphia Bar Associations and the Commercial Law League of America. Over the past several years, Mr. Weir has lectured for the Pennsylvania and Philadelphia Bar Association on selected topics regarding bankruptcy, debt collection and lending issues. He has also conducted seminars for many financial institutions on lending practices. For the past three years, Mr. Weir has served as a Master in the Temple American Inn of Court.
