About A. Wells Black Jr.
Wells is a 1994 graduate of Davidson College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. He worked for a year prior to enrolling in law school. He received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law in December 1997, graduating a semester early. Wells worked with another local firm as well as in his own solo practice before co-founding Black & Black, LLC in August 2002. The firm was subsequently renamed Black, Black & Montgomery, LLC in 2008.
