Alex B. Cash

Alex B. Cash practices primarily in the areas of family law, medical malpractice, personal injury cases and products liability. He has been admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. Mr. Cash was recently elected by his peers to serve on the Board of Governors for the South Carolina Trial Lawyers Association. He is a member of the South Carolina Trial Lawyers Association, the South Carolina Bar Family Law Section, the Tort and Insurance Practice Section of the American Bar Association and the American Association for Justice. Mr. Cash graduated from Florida State University, earned his Masters in Music from Indiana University and received his law degree from the University of North Carolina. Personal Information Mr. Cash was originally born in Winston-Salem, NC on June 27, 1961. He has been married for over 15 years to Sarah Cash, and they have two children. They are members of the Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian Church. Cash, a North Carolina native, received his law degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1991. Mr. Cash is an equity member of Rosen, Rosen & Hagood. He concentrates his law practice in representing individual clients in the areas of personal injury, medical malpractice, and family law. Mr. Cash has tried cases for clients in practically all of the various forums available in South Carolina, including but not limited to, the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina, the South Carolina Court of Common Pleas, the South Carolina Family Court, the South Carolina Probate Court, Magistrates Court, and a variety of administrative hearing forums. He has represented clients in appeals to the South Carolina Court of Appeals and the South Carolina Supreme Court. He has also been a speaker at a variety of continuing legal education seminars. Mr. Cash graduated magna cum laude from Florida State University in 1983, and received a Master of Music with Distinction from Indiana University in 1985. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Cash performed as a professional musician with numerous orchestras across the country and has worked as a free lance musician in New York City. He was also a prior faculty member at the North Carolina Governor's School and an adjunct instructor at the College of Charleston. Locally, Mr. Cash has performed with the Charleston Symphony Orchestra and with the Spoleto Festival Orchestra. He also free-lances with various jazz groups in the area.
