Charles M. Condon Jr.

Charles M. Condon, Jr., is an experienced attorney with a proven track record and extensive courtroom experience. During his tenure at the Ninth Circuit Solicitor’s Office, he prosecuted a wide variety of cases in courts across Charleston and Berkeley counties. He is an experienced litigator and prides himself in attention to detail and preparedness which allows him to obtain the best possible results for his clients. Charles practices in the areas of criminal defense, personal injury, contested probate cases, government relations, workers compensation, and other areas. Upon graduating law school in 2012, Charles joined the Ninth Circuit Solicitor’s Office in Charleston County and prosecuted domestic violence cases under Judge Steinberg. He prosecuted domestic violence cases in North Charleston Municipal Court along with James Island and West Ashley Magistrate’s Court. Charles also was the Berkeley County Domestic Violence Prosecutor for the Ninth Circuit Solicitor’s Office. He handled a domestic violence caseload in Magistrate, Municipal, and General Sessions Court. He appeared in courts across Berkeley County including Moncks Corner Magistrate Court, St. Stephen’s Magistrate Court, Goose Creek Municipal Court, and Berkeley County General Sessions Court. In addition to the domestic violence prosecutor assignment, Charles prosecuted a variety of other General Sessions cases including driving under the influence, drug crimes, assaults, property crimes, armed robberies, and burglaries. Charles also worked at the Charleston County office of the Ninth Circuit Solicitor’s Office where he handled a variety of violent crimes including aggravated assaults, drug trafficking, armed robbery, and murder. Additionally, he handled all the DHEC cases in Charleston County. He obtained guilty verdicts on cases including driving under the influence, domestic violence high and aggravated, aggravated assault, failure to stop for blue lights, robbery, burglary, and drug trafficking along with other crimes. Charles is a lifelong resident of Charleston, South Carolina. He attended Wando Highschool and the College of Charleston where he earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a Minor in Economics. He then attended the University of South Carolina School of Law where he graduated cum laude. He earned various honors including Order of the Robe (top 10% academically of his class second year), Order of the Coif (top 10% academically of his graduating class), Dean’s and President’s list, and a recipient of the Levan J. Wingate and Law Faculty Initiative Merit Scholarships. Charles also earned a CALI Award (top grade) in Insurance, Federal Courts, Advanced Legal Writing, Real Estate Transactions, and Problems in Professional Responsibility. He was a staff editor on the Real Property, Trust and Estate Journal and a research assistant. While in law school, Charles clerked for the Ninth Circuit Solicitor’s Office, United States Attorney’s Office, and Rosen, Rosen, and Hagood Law Firm. Charles currently resides in Mt. Pleasant and is married to Ashley Condon. They have three boys- Charlie, David, and Will. Charles enjoys fishing with his boys on the weekend and is an avid outdoorsman.
