Reese I. Joye

Mr. Joye, who founded the Joye Law Firm in 1968, is well-known as a tenacious litigator who focuses on protecting the rights of individuals. He's tried hundreds of cases before juries over the last 30 years. He's also author of several legal books. Mr. Joye, born in 1938 in Bennettsville, S.C, worked as an in-house attorney for Boeing Corporation in Seattle, Washington, before returning to South Carolina in 1968. He and his wife, Jackie, are long-time residents of Mount Pleasant, where they are active in community activities. They have three children, including firm partner Mark Joye, and three grandchildren. When Mr. Joye isn't preparing for a jury trial, he might be found snow skiing, scuba diving, jet skiing or cooking.
