C. Palmer Pillans

Palmer Pillans concentrates his area of practice in real estate, corporate and commercial lending. Mr. Pillans represents various parties in all types of commercial real estate transactions, including purchases, sales, leases, ground leases and financings. He has provided counsel to both landlords and tenants in leasing negotiations. He has experience in the development, sale, leasing and financing of shopping centers, office buildings, condominium complexes and hotels. Mr. Pillans also represents financial institutions and borrowers in loan transactions involving all types of collateral and projects, including the negotiation and documentation of a variety of commercial lending and real estate transactions. He has coordinated and closed revolving credit and term loan facilities, real estate and construction loans, tax increment financings, asset-based financings and floor plan financings. In addition, Mr. Pillans represents businesses in various tax and business planning issues, including mergers, acquisitions, formations and choice of entity.
