David Andrew Edward Lumb grew up in Yorkshire, England. He graduated from the University of Nottingham with a Bachelor of Arts with honors in American Studies. After graduation, David came to the United States and received a Master of Arts degree in history at Ole Miss. David attended law school at the University of Memphis, where he graduated with a Juris Doctorate in May, 1987.
