Donald P. Paul

Donald Paul has extensive experience representing hospitals and physicians in the defense of medical malpractice claims, including successful representation in jury trials seeking damages for wrongful death or catastrophic injury. Mr. Paul has defended manufacturers of numerous products alleged to have failed and caused harm, or death, including automotive axles, electronic switches, farm equipment, chemical fungicides, food products, contraceptive devices, and pharmaceutical products. Mr. Paul has represented both condemning authorities and landowners in significant eminent domain cases, including cases which have gone to jury trial in the circuit courts. Additionally, Mr. Paul has handled a wide variety of litigation matters in his career, including probate and estate litigation, breach of contract disputes, insurance coverage cases, securities fraud, motor carrier accident cases, automobile accident cases, homeowners insurance litigation, and Consumer Protection Act cases. Mr. Paul has been involved in hundreds of jury trials and/or bench trials throughout the State and Federal Courts of Tennessee.
