Sydney B. Gilbert

Sydney Gilbert focuses her practice on the defense of health care liability claims. She primarily represents hospitals, physicians, nursing homes and other medical providers in a range of medical malpractice cases, as well as licensing matters. Ms. Gilbert also handles general civil litigation matters. Ms. Gilbert is a native of the Appalachian Mountains, having grown up in Southwestern Virginia. She relocated to Kingsport, Tennessee upon graduating from University of Tennessee College of Law. Ms. Gilbert began her legal career serving as a law clerk in the chambers of the Honorable Judge Robert H. Montgomery, Jr., who presides on the Tennessee Court of Criminal Appeals. Ms. Gilbert resides in Kingsport with her two daughters.
