Aaron M. Wilkerson

Aaron is a Registered Patent Attorney and enjoys the challenge of all aspects of intellectual property practice, including patent, trademark, trade secret, domain name and copyright protection, prosecution, and litigation. Aaron helps clients build intellectual property portfolios and determine budget-sensitive portfolio enforcement and litigation strategies. Aaron’s practice is also dedicated to representing businesses and individuals in commercial and business transactions, litigation, and arbitration. Aaron has extensive experience with business formation strategy, real estate matters, and insurance transactions. Aaron spent over 10 years at Texas Farm Bureau and Affiliated Companies in the Legal and Claims departments as in-house counsel and Director of Claims. During his time at TFB, Aaron developed a passion for corporate strategy, structure, leadership, and solving complex problems through advanced data analytics. He also has broad experience in insurance, reinsurance, and specifically property and casualty claims. Aaron earned his Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation in 2018. Aaron has also developed a niche representing governmental entities. Aaron serves as litigation counsel for the Texas Municipal League Intergovernmental Risk Pool, its Board of Trustees, and its employees. Aaron is also General Counsel for the Board of Trustees for the Texas Water Conservation Association Risk Management Fund.
