About Alex W. Horton

Alex Horton started the Horton Legal Group, PLLC in 2024 to focus on serious personal injury, maritime injury, and plaintiff-side appellate cases. He previously spent almost fifteen years at the Krist Law Firm (after spending a year serving as a Briefing Attorney for Justice Paul W. Green of the Supreme Court of Texas). There he handled a wide range of cases involving personal injury and wrongful death, and played an integral role in that Firm’s recent successes. Mr. Horton finished number five in his law school graduating class, and was a member of the South Texas Law Review and the renowned South Texas College of Law advocacy program. A graduate of Texas A&M University, Mr. Horton spent a number of years working in the Texas Legislature and in state government prior to law school. He was born and raised in San Angelo, Texas.
